Allah Las with the Black Angels at Webster Hall

From the first moment I heard the track “Don’t You Forget It”, which just happened to end up in my inbox via an email from Rcrd Lbl, – I knew I had to see Allah Las when they passed through NYC. Having a Californian 60’s influence in their sound but being original enough to stand out from most bands I come across these days I decided I wanted to create images that represent the sound and form of the music. More so than trying to catch a perfect “in focus” photo of the band. Here’s what I captured:
